This month Venus and Libra take to center stage astrologically, nudging you to focus on close relationships and significant partnerships. This year, September is a powerful time for sorting out matters involving the important relationships of your life and I encourage you to use this available astrological energy toward relationships as a focus.  

Venus, in addition to her influence on relationships, brings her light to all things related to abundance and beauty including business and money, and therefore, if you don’t find relationships to be the center of your focus, then you can also apply this same emphasis to your business and or ways of bringing in more income and abundance. 

Or … perhaps you’ll have both partnerships and business needs calling for your attention.    

I encourage you to make space to get clear on how you’re proceeding with either or both of these areas in September as the energy is there to support you in making progress towards what you’d like to specifically manifest. 

Amazingly, not only are there several planetary aspects to Venus but there are a number of planets in the sign of Libra. Having several planets moving through Libra adds power to the dynamic aspects of Venus because Libra is the natural “sign ruler” of Venus. Every planet has a sign that is said to rule that planet, meaning they carry similar energy, and when they come together they add greater emphasis on the areas of life they influence. 

Some keywords regarding VENUS and LIBRA to help you understand their energies better: 

VENUS has to do with relationships, partnerships, love, beauty, beautifying yourself and or surroundings, social gatherings, business, money, and receiving gifts (which come in all types of “packages”). Whenever Venus is involved, expect more ease and positivity surrounding the energy. 

LIBRA is a relational sign and has to do with relationships/partnerships and a sense of wanting to share with others. It’s a social sign, giving emphasis towards connecting and communicating with people. Balance is often a word used to describe Libra and this has to do with bringing things in to balance with others. In this way, with Libra, there’s a less focus and concern on the individual self and a greater emphasis on showing up with appropriate and balanced connection and sharing with others.

MERCURY IN LIBRA

Mercury (the planet that influences how you think and communicate) is in Libra the whole month of September supporting you in bringing balance (Libra)  to your communications (Mercury) and wanting to naturally connect and find harmonizing ways to relate with others. 

VENUS IN LIBRA
8/17/21 - 9/10/21
Venus will be in its natural sign ruler of  Libra until September 10th, giving these first 2 weeks of the month a harmonious and strong energy emphasis towards relationships and all the matters listed in the keywords for Venus and Libra (see above information). Relationships are definitely highlighted through September 10th! 

MARS MOVES INTO LIBRA 
 9/16/21 - 10/30/21
Okay!  As Venus leaves Libra, Mars moves into Libra. Mars governs your drive to act...it has to do with relationships in the sense of how you take action and move towards the things you want. Therefore, you may feel the motivation of active Mars urging you to actually take the steps forward that you know you need to take when it comes to things that need to happen in your relationship or to make a relationship happen. This also has to do with finding ways to make it a win-win situation with others since Mars is in the sign of Libra. Mars typically brings more of a focus on the self, but as it moves through Libra, there’s an opportunity to see more clearly how your actions can affect others. 

SUN MOVES INTO LIBRA
9/23/21 - 10/23/21
Yes! Wherever the Sun is located, it  “highlights” the energy to focus on. Look to the above keywords for Libra to see what begins to get highlighted starting on September 23rd. 

Also, SUN and MARS start to join closer to each other in LIBRA starting on the 26th and for the rest of the month and so this energy of Sun and Mars in Libra and emphasis on relationships gets stronger at the end of the month!!!

Okay, this aspect asks you: what needs to be grounded and worked out in your relationships or with business or money? This is a time period where there’s no getting by and pretending there aren’t issues. They will show up in a way you can’t ignore them if you have been trying to. This is a time to deal with it and make choices on moving forward in ways that are best for both of you. What hasn’t been working will have to be re-examined at this time and restructured. It can sometimes mean ending a relationship that’s not working. If you have been having relationship troubles and you get through this time period and you’re still together, then it will be golden! It’s a trying time period to give you a chance to work out internal struggles you’re having and then make the most appropriate move for yourself. 

VENUS OPPOSING URANUS
9/20/21 - 9/26/21
Strongest 9/24/21

This again reiterates the same type of “figuring out relationships” energy but does so to help you break free from what holds you back in ways that just don’t work for you. So with Saturn, it’s about restructuring how you’re doing things in your relationship, and with Uranus energy coming in just after Venus makes a square to Saturn, it helps you break free from what has felt stuck.  Uranus brings a need for freedom and new pathways as well as energy to re-pattern and renew habitual ways of doing things. Shake things up and make it more exciting! 

VENUS TRINE NEPTUNE
9/27 - 10/2/21
Strongest 9/30/21

After getting through the transits of Venus with Saturn and Uranus, described above, there’s an opportunity to come into harmony and allow your heart to merge with oneness and love. Neptune brings a level of connecting on a Universal level with others and the idealism of what makes your hearts’ sing on a bigger Soul level. Sometimes this can cause confusion if the reality of things isn’t matching the potential of what your soul is feeling. When it comes to relationships, how you navigate through the Saturn and Uranus transits to get you in the right alignment with yourself and others will make a difference in the overall clarity of your pursuits in relationships. 

If, by the end of September, you’re finding yourself unclear on what’s happening in your relationships then go deeper within and find out what “realities” you need to confront to get right with yourself in relationships.

A little tidbit at the end of the month to take note of is Mercury goes retrograde in the last days of September… so get as much figured out before September 27th as communications may feel more challenged when Mercury goes retrograde.
